Future Leaders Support Program
CIM is proud to support the next generation of minerals and metals professionals through the Future Leaders Support Program for CIM CONNECT 2026. This initiative is designed to encourage student participation, foster engagement, and promote knowledge sharing by helping offset registration, travel and accommodation costs for students attending the conference.
Student ePoster Competition
The Student ePoster Competition at CIM CONNECT showcases the innovation and research of emerging professionals in the minerals and metals industry. Participants design visually clear presentations that communicate their research methods, findings and implications. A panel of industry and academic experts evaluates each submission, recognizing strong research, effective communication and potential impact. The competition fosters knowledge sharing, professional connections and early career visibility.
Students present their work using an interactive digital format, where posters are displayed on 55-inch touchscreen screens instead of traditional printed boards. Attendees can explore the research by navigating sections, zooming into details and engaging directly with the content.
