Daley McIntyre
General Manager
Daley McIntyre began her career in the uranium mining industry in 1997 as a summer student while attending the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Engineering. Today she is the general manager for Cameco Corporation’s Key Lake Operation.
Daley’s early career was as a leader in safety, environment, quality and regulatory affairs. She then became the program manager of a large suite of digital transformation projects for Cameco’s mining and milling operations in northern Saskatchewan.
In 2022, Daley took on her current role as Key Lake’s general manager, where she led the team from successfully restarting the mill after four years of care and maintenance, to achieving a world record in annual yellowcake production in 2024.
She has a passion for building technological skill sets, with a focus on STEM, and leadership competencies to maximize employment and advancement opportunities for the residents of Saskatchewan’s north.
