Corey Wurtzbacher | Career Summary

Corey Wurtzbacher is vice president and general manager of Technology and Global Sales Support in the Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology division.

Corey is responsible for capturing new sources of service revenue through technology and defining and executing commercial strategies to leverage emerging operational technology to create a sustainable mining & quarry technology business.

Corey has nearly 20 years of experience within Caterpillar and 10 years the automotive industry, with deep expertise in product development and order to delivery.

Throughout his career, Corey has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in engineering, operations and purchasing, including the Off-highway Truck & Wheel Tractor Scraper product manager and Machine Design Director, as well as an international assignment in India focused on new product introduction and supplier development for regional and global product supply. Prior to his current role, Corey served as vice president and general manager of drivetrain in the Large Power Systems Division (LPSD).

Corey graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and graduated with a master’s degree in Product Development from University of Detroit Mercy.
